Sharon, these are a clean, fashion-basic pair of pants. Who wouldn't want those and lots of them! You did a great job slimming down the pants and keeping the pleats neat on your knit fabric. My vote is no tabs. To my eye, they distract from all you've accomplished. I wish you the best on your foot surgery and a speedy recovery.

I have to agree with wendyrb, Sharon. The tabs are distracting (at least in the contrasting color). You might try them in a matching color if you really want to add them. And the tabs do add something to this pant. Nice job - your sewing looks very professional.
