I think you've made a very pretty dress out of this pattern. I agree with you about the neckline, though. It doesn't suit everybody and that includes me. I was amazed that it only took you 8 hours to complete. It took me much longer but I tend to do my sewing in stages anyway. It would be nice to see a photo of you wearing the dress.
