I bought this pattern for my sewing class. My teacher said that it looked rather wide and loose fitting for me, as I am size 2 and 5foot2. So, I bought some fabric at Village des Valeurs (Value Village) for $2.99 to practice.
I used size 14 and my material was not a knit jersey, but more of a polyester blend(?)
This pattern was easy to follow, great confidence builder for a newbie and it was fun. I might make it again, but I will tailor it on the sides and make it a bit shorter for my frame. I had fun with it. I will probably wear it with a belt and with a sweater over top.
There is one directional error on the instructions, but I read about it on hree, so I was not fazed!

PattyE said... Glad it worked out for you. I would think a size 14 pattern would be way too big for a size 2 person! Is the sizing way off on this pattern? 10/9/12 11:22 PM
JUNIPERJUNE said... No, the sizing is good. I am 5foot2 so I have to learn how to pick patterns that would suit my frame. I took my measurements and it fit nicely. It is just too flowy for me. 10/16/12 4:30 PM
