Fabric:Polyester Woven  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: I made View A. This appeared to be just a simple straight pencil style skirt. It does have a back double pleat for some unknown reason. You can read my blog on this at www.windows2wearables.com

Pattern Sizing: I sewed the size 8

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Instructions were easy to follow - even for a beginner like me! The double pleat kind of threw me off as I didn't notice it was there when I bought the pattern, but experienced sewers won't have any trouble with it

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The yoked waistline give the skirt a nice, smooth front. The double pleat ...not so sure about it

Fabric Used: A polyester woven fabric with some stretch to it. Lined the skirt with static-free polyester lining.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Other than shortening the skirt, I didn't make any real changes. It could probably stand to be taken in a bit, though.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? While I like this skirt, I think there might be better basic skirts out there to try. I might make this again in the size 6 just to see if that makes enough of a difference. Again, the double pleat thing...not so sure. It's a nice look, though.

Conclusion: I think this is a good, solid pattern. It's certainly simple - just 4 pattern pieces! Good basic skirt with a twist (double pleat) to add to one's wardrobe!
