Pattern Description: A vest/sleeveless top with bust darts and box pleat detail down the front

Pattern Sizing: I cut a straight size 4 according to my bust measurement

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very, very, very!

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was so straightforward, there were only 2 pattern pieces and it was a dream to sew up. I had the afternoon off work and was feeling a bit poorly so instead of sitting on the sofa with a hot water bottle (as was my initial plan!) I thought I'd do this as a project to cheer myself up and stop me thinking about feeling unwell. It worked a treat! It took me just under 4 hours to sew up the whole thing (I'm a beginner)

Fabric Used: Less than 1m of 100% cotton. A browny colour with cream polka dots.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only thing I changed was how I laid and cut the pattern pieces as I had less than 1m left over from another project. I had to cut the back of the top as 2 separate pieces as I didn't quite have enough fabric to cut on the fold. So there is a seam going up the centre back. It looks fine tho, as if it was always meant to be there...

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes! The only thing I would change next time is to make it a little bit longer. I might also try one with cap sleeves. Unfortunately the only photos I've got (which hubby took I hasten to add) don't do the top justice - it looks much better in real life.
