This is a little shrug created for the Princess Project.
Made from an interesting bronze paisley poly brocade I found at Cliff's on Castro St. in San Francisco. It's where all the Drag Queens around town get their bling. It has many shades of bronze, green, shocking pink and ochre tones. I beaded some of the paisley fleurettes. Lined in shocking pink poly satin.
The photos don't really reflect the true colors, it's not as orange as it appears in the pics. The jacket was easy to make - any shrug pattern will do. This jacket only has a little interfacing around the collar and sleeve hems to help hold its shape. No underlining.
To bead a fabric just buy what you like and start stringing and securing. I did work out the beading pattern on a fabric scrap beforehand. It's fairly easy, any beginner can do it.
