Pattern Description: Halter dress - maxi length.
Pattern Sizing: I made an 8.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It fits well with the wrap abound tie and doesn't have a zipper.
Fabric Used:
Chiffon burnout over white doubleknit. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used the double knit and chiffon together as one piece. The weight of the double knit made the dress drape really well.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes.
Conclusion: This pattern is from 1973. On my blog, you can see the original dress made in 1973 for myself before my daughter was born and then my daughter wearing the current dress.
