Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes Were the instructions easy to follow?I found the instructions for the lower fronts to be a really gnarly puzzle; I traced the pattern and had the cut-out pattern to use, or I think I would have lined the waste basket with it. It was not clear from the drawing until my husband and i laid out the pieces and figured it out.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like Kwik Sew very much, and this never bothered me before, but it would have helped me a lot to have the pattern number on the pieces. How hard would that be? There were 3 or 4 small rectangular pieces and they were not shown accurately in the instructions - I'm handicapped by a background in drafting where if I don't find accuracy, I can't cope. I didn't like the sleeve casing instruction at all. But the worst part was constructing a welt pocket with zipper out of ripstop nylon. It isn't real smooth or easy to handle and by the time I was finished, I felt silly for not going ahead without it. When I was done the piece was shortened considerably. I also don't understand why they recommend the water-repellant material for contrast and line the entire front with it but don't include it on the back and sleeves; seems silly to use it at all.
Fabric Used:A water-resistant nylon and Polartec fleece. I wanted warmth with some rain protection.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I used the casing method given for the bottom hem, which was recommended here!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I love the look of it and I think it looks good on him. I'd make it again and probably omit the top pocket and I'd use just fleece, or a softer treated cotton. He complains that the sleeve casings hurt, so I would do those over for sure. I planned this jacket a while back and he's been on a real growth spurt. We'll wear it Christmas Day and then give it away, sigh.

I cannot get the photo to work here; I've done everything it said but get the Forbidden message or error page. The photo is on FriendsofPR.com and it says that it's there.???

I'm sorry you had a problem with this pattern - it is a nice looking jacket. Hopefully you can find another that will work better for you. ETA: When I click on the photo above, it says Zen Shirt?

Hi nestle, I've sent you an email about how to fix the Finished garment image and the See photo link in your review. Look forward to seeing the jacket!

thank you Diane. I think part of my problem was using an IPAD with terrible Internet service; I think I have it right now.

Hi nestle, the See photo link has the link to the review in it, not the link to photo with the jacket. Otherwise, looks great! Nice project!
