Pattern Description:
Blouse with giant fluttery sleeves! Pattern Sizing:
0-18 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I think so!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes! It was a pretty simple pattern to put together.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the sleeves!
Fabric Used:
I think this is a crepe. I probably bought it in 2009. The bias tape is from a cotton belle epoque fabric. I like the look of the top.
I keep going back and forth on thinking the bias tape matches enough to looking at it and saying, "what was I thinking?" But for a project I put together with what I had sitting around the house - I'm happy enough with it.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added two darts to the back and front around the neck. This brought the neck in, and next time I make this I'll know where I need to make pattern alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes to both! I'll probably make one more for myself. Conclusion:
This was my first colette pattern and my first time making bias tape. I'm happy I now know how to make it!
Very pretty!

This is so cute!! Love the bias tape. Great save on the too-big neckline.

A lovely top! I think the color in the bias tape looks great. No need to worry about it matching.
