Pattern Description:
Tunic style stress with pockets and V-neck back.
Pattern Sizing:
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, generally
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't use the directions. But, they seemed to be good.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like that the interest is in the the back. Of course, someone at the office said I should have made the V in the front. Everyone's a critic.
Fabric Used:
Purple wool from my stash
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I decided to bind the edges instead of using the facing. I also omitted the ties.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
The skirt is very short. So much so that I wear it as a tunic with tights. It also needs an FBA, which I chose not to make. I also skipped the pockets for simplicity's sake.
Nancywin said... Great job. I'm surprised that BS didn't put a line drawing on the site. I like the idea of binding the edges. Did you cut bias strips from self fabric, or use something different? 11/20/12 1:54 PM
