Pattern Description:
This is a cute dress with gathers at the bust with a fake button placket (no buttonholes) and a gathered skirt. Pattern Sizing:
sizing is european but just need to convert to inches if that is easier for you. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
it did Were the instructions easy to follow?
the pattern is only in french right now but there are lots of drawings and if you have made a couple of dresses you will have no problem making this. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
i love the packaging and the gathers on the bust. helps my small bust gain some momentum! :P Fabric Used:
a slippery silk satin. i made a muslin using this and maybe it was not the best idea as my gathers are a bit uneven but i dont mind. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
i just made the pattern as it came but would lengthen the bodice and placket by 1.5 inches next time. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes i would. do make a muslin in case to work out the instructions. then it can really become a wardrobe staple! Conclusion:
lovely dress from a new indie designer. loving it so far!

The Joker was NOT the first thing that came to mind when I saw your dress!! It's very cute! You picked a difficult-to-work-with fabric and did a nice job with it. Thanks for introducing this new pattern line!
