This top came out very nice. And it was a muslin, too. I think that must feel good--to get a nice wearable top when you were just trying out the pattern. And it's nice when the seam allowance boo-boo didn't matter. Good job.

Aren't you glad you used 5/8" sa? Don't you wish it worked that way every time? Thanks for the review -- what a great top! Love the fabric! I am just ecstatic when I sew a "wearable muslin" & it doesn't turn out to be a wadder!

Do you think this would make a good camisole to wear under sheer shirts?

No, I don't think this would be a good camisole under shirts because it would be too bulky. the gathers and empire waist would be too lumpy under the blouse. I think you would want something with minimal seams and probably no gathers. I would be a cut blouse to wear under a jacket
