Pattern Description:
MISSES' LINED JACKETS: Close fitting, front and back armhole princess seams. A: Roll up sleeve. C: Invisible zipper in sleeve. D: Slit in sleeve.
Designed for medium to heavy weight woven and stable knit fabrics.
Pattern Sizing:
Sizes 8-22 I cut a size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes and no because I added some extra zips
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes Palmer Pletsch provide good instructions with their patterns including the markings for sway back, broad back, and FBA etc, making it easier if you are not used to doing alterations.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the shape of the pattern, however I am not too sure about the zipper placement on the sleeves. It follows the under arm seam and just doesn't seem int he right place so if I was to make the jacket again I would either leave out the zip or place it somewhere else.
Fabric Used:
This was a beautiful wool cashmere blend and feels lovely.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a sway back and FBA adjustment and added to angled double welt zipped pockets, using the PP method.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and Yes. Conclusion:
Nice non-fussy jacket that can be adapted to make subtle changes. I'll definitely make it again.

The welt pockets that you added really take it up a notch. The extra attention to detail on the inside really makes it special. Just love everything about it! 11/26/12 0:52 AM
