Pattern Description: Misses' knit top in two lengths has surplice or boat neckline and can be made with 3/4 sleeves, ruched short sleeves or sleeveless.
Pattern Sizing: 4 – 16; I made view D in a 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It did!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Clear and easy directions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the classic silhouette. This is a great basic. No dislikes.
Fabric Used: Sophia double knit in tarragon from Vogue Fabrics
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I stabilized the shoulders and sewed the sleeves in flat. I also used my coverstitch to finish the neckline and hems.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, absolutely!
Conclusion: This is a great basic design that I think will be great on its own or as a layering piece. For more versatility, I also made a matching infinity scarf (14” by 58” before sewing).
