Pattern Description:
Loose-fitting, unlined jackets have self-lined hood or collar and narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing:
I made 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Kind of.. I've made some changes though..
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I would say yes, but as I changed it a bit and added lining, I didn't follow all the instructions..
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the fact that it's a simple pattern with the hood. Didn't like the fact that it was unlined jacket. I never saw an unlined raincoat before!
Fabric Used:
I had only 1.5m, it wasn't enough, so I had to shorten the pattern
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Quite a few: I made it shorter, I made side seam pockets, I omitted the belt,
and I made it lined with cotton fabric.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would recommend - it's nice and simple.
Conclusion:
I love my new raincoat! Mostly because of fabric, but this pattern was great for a fabric with busy print..

Fabulous !!!! Your fabric choice is perfect for this raincoat. The silver Wellies add nicely to the total look. Loved your photos too, makes me wish for a rainy day.
