Pattern Description:
Misses/Women's Dresses, Dress B Pattern Sizing:
We cut a size 18. Pattern comes in sizes 8-24W Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Besides the modifications made, yes. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Just slightly confusing when it came to the draped collar but otherwise, yes. The fabric we used didn't have a clear right and wrong side, so it was difficult at first. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
We liked the fact that there were only three pieces (we used 2). Fabric Used:
Jersey Knit Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
We made the dress more body fitting by cutting the pattern straight from the waist to the hem then tapering in the bottom so that there would be less kick. We also omitted the sleeves. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. Conclusion:
It was a nice pattern. Definitely one beginners would benefit from learning. Once you get the draped collar down, it's very straight forward.
