Pattern Description: Misses Top

Pattern Sizing:sm-xl

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I think so.
Funky Top

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very eay, although the insertion of the shoulder tabs seemed odd to me

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the extended opening on the sleeves and thought the gusset insertions were cool because you didn't have to worry about side arm or anything showing.

Fabric Used: This was some kind of knit. I saw it at Joann's and knew I wanted some kind of funky sweater like top out of it.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None really. It's longer than what I really wanted, and so I just added gathers on each side to create a kind of ruching and it worked out fine.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Each year I try to make 3-4 things for my birthday. This top and the skinny jeans are part of the 2012 collection. I might make this again in a solid fabric, maybe.

Conclusion: I found the fabric for the pants before the top, but as soon as I saw the fabric, I knew it would be great with the pants. I like the final result. I have already worn it to a concert and wore the top with jeans to a dinner party. Very comfortable top, so it's a winner.
