Pattern Description: Close fitting pull-over tops have scoopl neckline. View A has cowl collar and full length sleeves. View B is sleeveless and neckline and armhomes are finished with self fabric bindings. View A and B necklines can be interchanged.
I made View B.
Pattern Sizing: XS - S, I made small and usually am between 10-12 in big 4 or 36-38 in Burda.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Great, simple instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Like:
-The cowl has a nice shape. It's not just a rectangle of fabric and falls in soft folds rather than looking like a shelf.
-Simple construction.
Dislike:
-Pattern drafting was all wrong for my shape. Too wide at the neckline (I made a muslin of the tank first to check fit), boob ears under my arms and shapeless.
Fabric Used: Royal blue cotton/lycra. medium-heavy weight tubular rib knit from JoAnn's.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
-After messing with fit I remembered that I already HAVE a well fitted knit bodice from Burda 7742 so I used it instead.
-Raised the neckline (and adjusted cowl accordingly) one inch after looking at other reviews, not sure I needed to.
-Narrowed the sleeve.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I still need to work a little on the fit of the armscye then might have another go of it.
Conclusion: A nice cowl, and favorite of many PR members, but a bodice that didn't work well for me. Back Another front view
The quilt is the second project I finished this week. It's called Flying Kites by Nellie's Needles. I wish it had used more of my stash.

I'm still trying to imagine what you mean.
