Pattern Description: This envelop contained patterns for a jacket, top and shorts
Pattern Sizing: This is my biggest issue with the pattern. I went by the measured sizing but the arm holes were WAY too small for my arms. I tried to make some adjustments to the bands, but they are just unwearable. And I do not have big arms. It also fit very funny in the bust. I made adjustments for my bust size, as I usually do, but I still could not get it to sit right on my top
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Other than being poorely fitted, yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were OK. I would not recomend them to a beginer, but an experienced sewist would do fine.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really liked the style of the shirt and the different coordinates. But I was so dissapointed with the fit of the top, I have been too scared to try the other pieces.
Fabric Used: cotton batiste
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made adjustments for my fuller bust.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? no.
Conclusion: I added a pretty fancy trim around the neckline, before finishing the sleaves and I have thought about just cutting it off to use on other items since I never wear this shirt. But, I know that it would not be for everyone. So if you have skinny arms and want to try this pattern but would not go for crazy roses around your neck, please don't let my tastes discourage you.
