Pattern Description:
Misses lined coat or jacket. Three button front-closure with fitted bodice, pleat in back.
Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, considering that coats/jackets aren't always the easiest garments to construct.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love how it has a shaped look, but without too much bulk.
Fabric Used:
Faux fur for outer. Polyester lining.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
FBA and additional width to upper sleeve.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
This was my first time sewing up this pattern, but I already owned a coat from the same pattern that my mom had made for me. I love how versatile this pattern is, with plenty of room for different looks and weights. I just might make it again as a spring-time version in a few months.
Conclusion:
Favorite coat pattern I own.
