Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?NO
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It looks great when it's done - but you can't try it on until the shoulder seams are done; they are the very last seams that are sewn!!
Fabric Used:Rayon Spandex jersey
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Despite other reviewers notes that there were not provisions to lengthen/shorten it, I just left a bit more room between the front pieces when I taped it together (the front is in 3 sections you tape together to make a big piece). Then I trued up the seams. I also added triangular gussets under the arms to give it more coverage – thanks to other reviewers I knew about this ahead of time.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is challenging (to use a polite word) Drinking several glasses of wine might help the process. Or maybe not; in the end I had a dress. With some mistakes my drunken co-workers in a dark room would never notice.
But I'll tell you about them if you go to my blog: Sew, Stash, Sew
Conclusion: Make sure you read other reviews before you make this dress!!
