Pattern Description: Misses Formal Dress

Pattern Sizing: 14-22

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I think so.
The Dress

Were the instructions easy to follow? It was really easy to put together. Although I had the hardest time with the tucks. But that was definitely user error.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the simplicity of this dress. I thought it was classy, but clean. The front and back details were just enough and didn't overpower the look. And this came together in about 4 hours. And that was 4 hours with what seemed like constant interruptions - LOL.
The Party

Fabric Used:I used a matte jersey

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I closed the front split. I generally love a split, but I didn't think the dress needed the detail.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would definitely sew this again. As I said, I would love this in a brighter color, like RED!

Conclusion: I LOVE that I finally finished this dress and that my thoughts about it two years ago were correct. I rarely think things look good on me. I might think the finished product is cute, but this is one that I think looks great on me! Here is my darling daughter in the dress she made for the event. She's pretty talented and Im not biased!
