Pattern Description: Coat or jacket
Pattern Sizing: I made a 16 with an FBA. I should have made a 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Except for the changes I made, yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, but I did the welt pockets my way, not Burda's way
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The welt pockets and the bubble hem
Fabric Used: Thrifted cotton/ cotton blend curtain panels
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did an FBA, shortened it, eliminated the bubble hem due to the business of the fabric, took out 4 of the 6 pleats in the back and left off the bow.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will not sew it again, but the pattern is okay
Conclusion: This pattern is pretty similar to another pattern I already have, like better, and have made many times before (Burda 7638), but I thought since I had paid money for this pattern I might as well use it. More at Room for Sewing
