Made dress in a size 8 for a friend. It was very simple and straight forward and didn't take that long to construct (perfect for a beginner). The only alteration i made was to the centre front seam - took in an inch (on each side) to make it my friend's petite figure. The main difficulty i encountered with the pattern was with the HEM- their instructions on easing in the hem were not easy to follow. I ignored them and did my own thing- it looks fine but the lining does have some puckers. The belt is easy to make- but you do have to slip stitch a small segment (i don't like hand sewing). Overall fun pattern....If you're a beginner read up about easing a hem , before attempting the hem.....
