Pattern Description: Dress with pleats. I made View C but with the longer skirt option (which is still short in my opinion)

Pattern Sizing: I made a 14 but should have made a 12 as sateen has stretch. My measurements are for a 16.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes I think so.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes and the pleating is not as difficult as some have found it to be (in my opinion)

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Nothing - it's great.

Fabric Used: Cotton sateen and batiste for lining the skirt.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I totally changed the pleats because with this particular pattern it didn't bring out the design well with the two small pleats at the front. So I made them all large and box pleat-like. I think it works better and was easy to do. I lined the whole thing and used the same fabric for the bodice (I mirrored the pattern so it wouldn't show through). I did this because I thought lining a stretchable fabric with a non stretchy fabric was a no-no. I think it would have been ok though. I put pockets in as well as I love pockets.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I plan to.

Conclusion: This is a great pattern. It's very versitile and I've been able to sew it straight from the packet without alteration which is great.
