Pattern Description: Lined scarf with fabric fringe and in-seam loop that allows the scarf to easily be fastened around the neck. From the book "Little Things to Sew". See all my scarf photos here.

Pattern Sizing: Small. Medium, and Large.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Not really, but that's only due to changes I made.

Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't follow the instructions, though I did read through them before starting and found them clear and easy to follow.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the idea of a scarf that doesn't have to be tied. I can leave the scarf looped and just slip it on and off over my baby's head, tightening or loosening the scarf as needed.

Fabric Used: Polar Fleece.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: To be honest, I only used the pattern by "stealing" the idea of the "no-tie" scarf. I changed pretty much everything except the basic idea of the loop. The original scarf is lined and the loop is integrated into the space between the two fabrics. My daughter is still small and still doesn't have much of a neck to wrap all that fabric around, so I left off the lining and just hand-sewed a rectangle onto the back to slip the other side of the scarf into.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will definitely come back to this pattern when I'm ready to make a nice lined scarf for my daughter. The loop idea is ingenious and I think this scarf could be made into a really beautiful accessory, made as the pattern intended.

Conclusion: Despite going totally "rogue" on this pattern, I'm happy with this scarf and it's keeping my daughter's neck nice and warm, so I'd say it was a success.
