Pattern Description: (From Burda site)
Simply enchanting, this top with peplum gives a romantic feeling. Lovely contrasts are created with the addition of the lace collar which really makes this top a statement piece.
Pattern Sizing:34-42
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?The girl in the photo looks quite elegant, I look...weird
Were the instructions easy to follow?Very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I liked the peplum part, the one I really wanted to try, I also like the vertical darts. They kind of enhance the chest area, which is nice for a change
I dislike that the line when the top meets the peplum is very high on the front and very low in the back, so from the side it looks, shall I say this again...weird
Fabric Used:Ponte knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None besides leaving out the zipper, but I should have try to alter the pattern so the peplum started at the exact waist, front and back
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
No and yes, if you like this kind of look Conclusion:
I was looking for an easy, good looking proyect after the coat I reciently made. I know I will wear this, but I just thought it was going to look better on me.

I had my doubts about the lifted waistline and on my blog looked at a Russian sewist's so-called "Frankenpattern" to use another bodice. http://chanelno6.blogspot.ch/ Now that I see your wonderful version, I think it looks much better than it seemed on the technical drawing. Congrats!
