Pattern Description: Loose fitting unlined jacket has lined pockets, sleeves with stitched hems, toptitching and asymmetrical snap closing.
Pattern Sizing: It comes in sizes 3-4 thtough 42W-44W.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sort of.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't use the instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked that it was easy and had just a few pieces.
Fabric Used: I used is wool/poly fleece that I got at the ASG yard sale.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't use any linings or facings. Also I used wooly nylon to finish the edges. I added Snap Source snaps as closures and used three instead of the single snap called for in the pattern.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I won't be sewing this again, but it is a fast and easy project. I haven't decided if I would recommend it or not.
Conclusion: I've had this fabric in my stash for a while and it takes up lots of room. I wanted a casual sweater coat type garment to wear this winter to ward off the chill. It's a great project, but has very little shape to it and looks a bit sloppy. DH doesn't like it because it doesn't have a collar. He thinks it looks unfinished and would be okay as long as I just wore it in the house.
