Pattern Description: Misses Pullover Mini Dress or Tunic
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it does
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, although I the way the front inset sits is a bit strange.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really like that this is a quick and easy pattern and is flattering. I was worried that the empire line elastic would bunch around the tummy, but it's fine. My dislikes are listed in the alterations.
Fabric Used: Polka dot jersey - £3 per metre, from Shepherds Bush Market.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I re-cut the front bodice panels but 2" longer as I was worried that I needed a FBA. I also topstitched the facing and front inset so that it would sit correctly.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would definitely make this again.
Conclusion: Great addition to my wardrobe, and I love that it was so quick to sew. Is also a good pattern for those who would like to sew with jersey for the first time.
