Pattern Description:
Especially for beginners, this is the perfect flared skirt! A wardrobe essential, the Hollyburn Skirt has just the right amount of flare. It sits right at the waist for maximum figure flattery, and features super practical pockets!

Pattern Sizing:
0-16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Exactly!

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I was pattern testing but the test instructions were very thorough with lots of clear diagrams

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
You can choose from three different amounts of flare and waistband options, it is easy to customise the length to flatter

Fabric Used:
Cotton/Linen blend from Tesutti Melbourne

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made view B but hemmed it shorter, somewhere between vies B & C

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I think I will make another in a solid and maybe a print too, I would like to try view C with more flare.

Conclusion:
I think this pattern would look great in most fabrics and amazing in a solid colour too. You could also choose a contrast for the pockets and/or waist band and even widen the waist band and add some boning for a more dramatic waistline.

This pattern is great for the new seamstress as the instructions are extra thorough with lots of clear diagrams.
