Pattern Description:
Girl's Dress, a Project Runway Workroom pattern with bodice and sleeve variations and back zipper.
Pattern Sizing:
Sizes 3-8; I made a 5 with a 7 in length
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Didn't really use the instructions, but when I read them before hand they seemed well written and easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
A cute age appropriate dress great for Christmas and attending a wedding next spring.
Fabric Used:
THe main part of the dress is brocade, the black accents are scraps of sateen that I had leftover from a previous project.
Would you sew it again?
Yes! I might even let my 8 year old daughter try to sew it for her next sewing lesson. And I will have to make sure the staps are shorter.
I absolutly love how this turned out! My daughter will look beautiful this Holiday season and for a wedding this spring. |
