Pattern Description: Misses' & Miss petite Traveler shirt dresses. Lisette Sew Your Style pattern.
Pattern Sizing: 6-22. I made a 14 in View C.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, very much so.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions are simple to follow and clear.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that this pattern has two very wearable, everyday dresses. I wear skirts or dresses all the time and I am always wanting a good basic like this. I made View A a year ago but am not thrilled by it... only because I made it too large, lost more weight and now it's wayyy to big.
Dislike: The ease in this dress is MASSIVE (but so are most big commercial patterns). I would have made an 18/20 as opposed to a straight 14 if I followed the envelope's suggestions.
Fabric Used: Quilting cotton (yep... AND it's from WalM*art... but I love it still)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made ZERO alterations! None! Not a single one. Oh, wait... I shortened the hemline by 2", but that's nothing. I didn't have to do any bust adjustments, back adjustments, extra darts, etc.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would. I made this because I wanted something non-wintery after having sewn up loads of cold weather garments.
Adorable dress!
