Pattern Description: This is a late 1960s pattern for two styles of gored skirts. One has 4 gores and the other has several small gores and the number you use depends on your waist size.
Pattern Sizing: 32-42 (I used my standard 36 for European sizes)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? absolutely
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very straight forward and I would recomend this pattern to beginner sewers.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really liked the comfort and the femine swing of this skirt. I also learned a new technique of using stretch lace to create ease in a circular hem. It worked great and I will apply this skill in the future.
Fabric Used: double knit I picked up at a remnant table
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would recomend it to others. I will likely sew it again; maybe the other version too.
Conclusion: This is a wonderful basic skirt that can easily be whipped up in an afternoon. It is very comfortable and looks pretty. If you can get your hands on this vintage pattern, I recomend it.
