Pattern Description:
MISSES' REVERSIBLE JACKET: Loose-fitting jacket has contrast reverse side, shawl collar and dropped shoulders; stitched waistline tucks, tape for tie ends to encase edges.
Pattern Sizing:
8-10-12-14 - I have decided to make size 8
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I did not make reversible however it looks like on the pattern envelope
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I did not follow the instruction - first it is very easy patters, second I have made lined version with different collar and caffs. I had to make my own lining pattern.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the shape - it is very feminin and adding this fure faux collar and caffs made it looks a little vintage
Fabric Used:
black wool with cashmire with fure faux pieces
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did not make reversible but made lining (with underlining), I added the caffs.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Well, it is a great wardrobe piece - so yes - however I am now ready to go on with my next project - coat.
Conclusion:
It is easy pattern, I have checked the instruction later on and I can say that it is easy to follow and staright forward. I am sitting a lot in a car and it has a good lenght.
