From the pattern: What a winner! We have created a topper that accentuates the positives and covers the rest. A little ruffle or a lot, whatever you like. A classy, short cover with a bit of bling for a clasp to dress up a plain dress. The longer more ruffled version to give your mood a wonderful girly lift. Try it with a belt for a shapely curved feel. With or without sleeves, this one is all about feeling good and looking great.

XS-L4 I cut a small-medium.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, I think so.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
This is the second time I've made it and I didn't look at them this time, so you know they are easy!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I thought this pattern had a lot of potential, as described on my previous review, so this time I made it into a workout cover-up.
Fabric Used:
Cotton/Spandex. I actually wanted a sweatshirt fleece for this and didn't find any. This is a lighter weight knit than that, but honestly, it is more "Houston friendly" than sweatshirt fleece.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
This time I only used one layer of ruffles around. I incorporated some of the design details from my favorite workout jackets and drafted pockets for both the front and sleeve, as well as adding a little "porthole" inside one of the front pockets for my earphone cord to travel inside my jacket. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I love this workout version and might make more. I know for sure my sister(s) will want one!
Conclusion:
Like I said in my previous review, this pattern is a winner for striking out and making it yours!!

This may be the most creative topper reviewed this year!!! Of course I love the pattern, but the pocket additions are brilliant, and I love the dark edge on the ruffle as well as the touch of orange. Well done!
