Pattern Description: High waisted A line skirt with buttons down the front. Fitted waist, large scoop pockets and pleats at front and back.

Pattern Sizing: XS to XL. I chose somewhere between and XS and S.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes (just a bit longer)

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very. There were also useful diagrams and handy hints.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was really easy to put together. There are only 5 pattern pieces. I love the pockets the most - really simple way of putting them in that I will be using time and time again in the future. I also love the way the buttons make the whole skirt more interesting.

Fabric Used: I'm not sure what it is! It's a slightly sheened, drapey, navy blue with a very slight stretch to it (hardly any at all) that I got for £1/m from Barry's Fabrics in Birmingham, UK.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't take the hem up as much as recommended, only because I was making it as a work skirt so it needed to be on the decent side!

The only other thing I had to change (out of necessity, not choice) was to use poppers for the fasteners as my machine had a mare with the buttonholes and I just couldn't get it to work. I think it's either a fault with my machine or something that I'm doing wrong - so nothing to do with the pattern at all.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I am definitely going to sew it again - I have a lightweight denim lined up to make a not-at-work skirt which will be shorter.
