Pattern Description: Misses darted tunic top with sleeve and hem variants
Pattern Sizing: Misses- spot on, actually
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It does- you really can't screw up this pattern!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy- again, you really can't screw up this pattern!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Thrice- you really can't screw up this pattern! Seriously tho, this is a great little easy shape, make it in 2 hours, wear it a million times pattern.
Fabric Used: a gold imprinted polyester chiffon
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none! I did just what they told me to do!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This fits like it was made for me- oh, well, it was....I think this is a great staple pattern.
Conclusion: In my next version, I will try a contrast fabric, so the little yoke will show up- it did a nice bit of shaping to the bodice, but you really can't see it on the gaudy print I chose. Oh, bonus points: my motherinlaw couldn't tell I'd made it myself-

I completely agree with you about sewing things that don't fit AT ALL with my lifestyle just to advance skills. Well, your MIL obviously doesn't know what she's talking about and you couldn't look better than you do in this great top!

What a great top! Beautiful fabric, style and best of all fit. Thank you so much for posting this review. I've been wanting a pattern for a woven top similar to one I bought in 2011. This is very close, only better. Tomorrow this pattern is mine!
