Pattern Description:
MISSES' TOP: Loose-fitting, pullover top has front pleats and tucks, sleeveless or sleeves and stitched hems.
I made View A
Pattern Sizing:
6-12 and 14-20 I made a size 12'ish!
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, right down to the pleaty looking thing down the front.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very - it is after all a 'Fast & Easy' pattern for this reason. The instructions were very detailed and take you through step-by-step if needed.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love the pleated detail, and how it drapes down the body, giving the neckline a lovely boost. It is just a nice all-round shell top with a little twist (or pleat!)
Fabric Used:
A caramel (no, not beige this time) and white print cotton jersey that has super draping qualities for this top. It has a slinky feel to it when worn...
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No major changes (so unlike me!) Guess the only thing I did was to tack down the front facing at each dart - just to control that front facing and stop it from flipping out like a bib! I have worn the top and it seems to have solved this annoying problem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would like to make one more sleeveless version for summer, and then I will plan to make the long sleeve version for winter in a thicker winter fabric - and it will probably be out of a plain fabric so the detail can be seen easily!
Conclusion:
Super quick to whip up, nice little feature on the front neckline and it looks great as a layer under a jacket. It is a great basic top, with the marking/sewing of the 11 pleats being the most challenging part - but it is well spelt out and easy for a beginner to conquer! More at my blog...

I have looked this pattern before because I like the simplicity and the little details. Your top is stylish by itself and layered. Nice job!

Your top looks so much better than the pattern pic. I really love this!

Simply wonderful with those pleats, I could have a few of these in my wardrobe :)

Lovely top! The neckline detail is such a pretty feature, along with your fabric choice and nice sewing.

Your top is so pretty, so much nicer than the pattern envelop suggests.
