Pattern Description: A knit tee with a sweetheart neckline.
Pattern Sizing: Childrens size 2 to womens size 22. I made a size S, which is the second adult size.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sure.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were good.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I have two daughters (ages 20 and almost 18) who wear the same size. I wanted to make them Christmas gifts, and I wanted them to look like RTW. I think this pattern fit the bill very well.
Fabric Used: I made two versions. The black is a viscose lycra jersey. The eggplant is a rayon lycra jersey. Both are think, curly, and unstable.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I have only read a few reviews, so I don't know if others encountered this (the reviews I read didn't mention it) but after sewing the vertical elastic at the top of the front neckline, I then sewed on the narrow band. But the band flopped because of the presence of the elastic. Therefore, I pinched out a tiny wedge of fabric in the band and sewed it out. This removed the floppiness and I was much happier with the result.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Definitely! I wanted to make an outfit for each of my daughters that would mimic RTW. They are very picky about fit, design, color, pattern. I hope these outfits fit the bill. I do think they will be happy with the tops, at least. They were a bit fiddly to sew with the 1/4" seam allowances and small pattern pieces, especially using the thin un-stable knit fabrics, but it wasn't too bad. It wouldn't surprise me if I make these again.

Your tops turned out so cute! Very lucky daughters. That is a nice idea about the pinched out wedge. I will do that the next top like this that I make.

These tops look so good- totally professional to the last detail on the neckline; I hope your girls love them. And thanks for the picky daughter inspiration. I've got one too. She's getting plaid PJs, got to get them finished up.

"Thin, curly and unstable." Sounds like a friend of mine. Heh-heh-heh. I like your fix on the neckline with that tiny little dart, as I can envision what you're saying about the neckline flopping slightly, next to that elastic. These are darling. I can't imagine your daughters NOT liking these whole outfits. :o)
