I think these snow pants look awesome and very RTW - especially considering the obstacles you had to overcome! I have really been wondering about trying a Jalie pattern but am a bit put off by some of the reviews that tell about lack of instruction since I'm a relative beginnner. These do look awesome though!

thank you for such a detailed reveiw. Yourexperience with the outerwear fabric is very helpful. I intend to get to work on some WPB fabric for rain/wind wear soon. Your pants look great and I really appreciate your detailed explanations of your changes to the pattern.

Wow - these look great! You put a lot of work into these, and it shows. Thanks for the review. I wonder how a green pepper pattern would compare with instructions? That is really too bad the instructions are lacking for such cute designs.

Tonya, these are awesome overalls! For a sewist whose family skis, these types of garments are worth struggling with. RTW ski pants are really spendy, and yours are so much nicer!

Thanks so much for this review. Have been toying with the idea of sewing my family some ski outfits but thought it must be impossible to get fabrics. I live in subtropical climate so would have to order over the net. I've been unsure just what fabrics to use and what they're called. Have you tried sewing a jacket yet ???
