Pattern Description:
Stylish, flattering and quick to sew.This pattern lets you make a tunic to wear as a dress over jeans or make a shirt. It features front and back pleats, 3/4 length sleeves and an open bodice.
Pattern Sizing:
2 -20. I used the size 14-16.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the shape of the skirt of the dress and the 3/4 sleeve length.
Fabric Used:
I used a cotton-poly knit although the pattern is for woven fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added loops and buttons on the front bodice so that it stayed closed. As it is a knit fabric I stablised the shoulder seams. I used a stable white cotton knit for the neck facings which I cut on the lengthwise grain. I did that so that when the crosswise grain (stretchy) of the fashion fabric met with the lengthwise grain (non-stretchy) of the facings there would be limited stretching. I picked up this technique from watching Sandra Betzina's online Craftsy class 'Pants Construction Techniques'. She cuts the interfacing on the opposite grain to the facing so that when it's fused it makes the facing very stable. I'm happy with the result of my facings. I also used the wrapped corners method for the centre front neckline. It worked a treat! I trimmed the corners after sewing to remove bulk.

Yes I would sew it again and this time in a woven fabric.
