Pattern Description: Mens and Boys sleepwear (This review for the boys pattern, husband's are still waiting to be put together.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very simple and to the point instructions
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Went together quickly, easy to make.
Fabric Used: Quilters cotton - Star Wars comic book style to be exact!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: These were for my nephew, who is six. Since kids grow like weeds around that age, I actually made the pants longer (about 6" longer), with the ability to roll them up or let them down as he grows, and always have the right side of the fabric matching up on the cuffs or let down part.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I do plan on making my nephew some other pjs from this pattern, and am currently working on a pair for my husband using the mens sized pattern.
Conclusion: This is a great simple pj pattern. Very good for beginners, and a breeze for more advanced sewists. The directions were clear and to the point, and the finished garment measurements were very helpful, and dead on for sizing. I live in a different state than my nephew, so only had his measurements and the pattern to go on. They were a perfect fit. If you are looking for a good quick weekend project, this is it.
