Pattern Description: Sleeveless dress with fitted and lined bodice. Slim or gathered skirt options. Pattern for jacket also included.
Pattern Sizing: Sizes 8-18
I made a 12 thru the shoulders and bust and tapered out to around 14.5 at the waist, and cut a size 18 skirt (which gave the skirt a bit more body/area to gather).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, however I found the instructions relating to the zipper insertion a little confusing and just make up my own method which worked fine.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Fabric Used: Bargain sale fabric! I'm actually not sure what is is, slightly stretchy light polycotton of some kind I think.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Moved side bust darts up 1cm, reduced length of bodice by 1 inch, increased length of skirt by 2 inches.
I also omitted the button/loops above the zipper and made the zipper go all the way to the top of the dress.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, definitely both!
Conclusion: Nice dress pattern, although it's 8 pieces (plus lining) it's fairly easy so long as you don't mind spending the time it takes to sew it all.

It looks so cute on you. I can see this dress made out of all sorts of fabrics for different occasions. The bodice fits you perfectly.
