Pattern Description: Men's Sleepwear: Robe, Pullover Nightshirt, Pants, and Shorts.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Very.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?Very Simple instructions.
Fabric Used:Fleece.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I had to make a few alterations to the pattern because I decided to try fleece for the first time. I used a rolled hem as a decorative finish and to make the belt loop carriers. I think the pattern only calls for one belt loop carrier but I made two. I also made an extra "carrier" and chopped it up to make a little loop that attaches near the neck so my husband can hang it on the door hook easily. I think I also changed the way the contrasting front neck band was placed because I thought the robe was kind of wide and I didn't want to add any more girth.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I would sew it again. I might try making him one in Terrycloth or a nice charmeuse for a more luxe effect.
Conclusion: This is a great easy piece. This robe can be done with a lot of variations in a lot of different fabrics. I might try making the sleep pants to match. This is a nice simple pattern that makes easy comfy lounge wear.
