I thought her instructions were easy to follow and the step by step tutorial with pics was really helpful. I cut mine a bit straighter so it doesn't have quite as much of an A-line shape but other then that I followed the directions.
It's a great way to use up some old sweaters. This one was a pretty think sweater that was a bit small for me so I never wore it but I like the colors and pattern. I think it made a cute dress. I think only thin or medium weight sweaters would work for this pattern as a chunky sweater I don't think would lay right.
