Pattern Description: A skinny pant from Style Arc. I made them once before. This time I lined them with flannel.
Pattern Sizing: 6-30, Australian sizing. I made a size 10, which is now a size too big. (I've lost some weight.) This worked out perfectly, however, because I lined them with a non-stretch flannel. (The pattern is designed for a stretch woven.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yup.
Were the instructions easy to follow? These pants are so easy to make, you don't really need instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the cool seaming and the fit is perfection. The knee yoke is in the right place (on me) and they feel very urban and very cool.
Fabric Used: I used a black stretch denim for the outside. Then I made the lining out of a plaid flannel.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None, really. When I made them the first time I had to shorten them about 1.5". This time I left them long so I could turn them up at the ankle and expose the flannel.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Oh, definitely. Though I guess I need to either grade these down or buy a smaller size for future pair.
Conclusion: I love these pants! I am the only one who reviewed them, so I hope others are trying this pattern - it's such a great pant! More on the blog.
