Misses' pullover dress or tunic & pull-on pants.
XXS to XXL
I made dress A.
I cut size S on top, then graded in to XXS under the armholes to the hem.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the back neckline and the little yoke front and pleats at the shoulders. I also like the ties inserted to the two back darts.
I have no dislikes.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the dress by 5".
I raised the front V-neck about 5/8".
I topstiched around the neckline.
I dropped the bottom of the armholes by 5/8" because they were a little high and tight. Consequently sides of the sleeves were enlarged by 3/8" to match.
Please note that alterations of the underarms might not be required for the sleeveless version of the dress.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I have already made a second one. The ties give a flattering look to the dress. I like it and I am very happy with it.
Yes, definitely I would recommend it to others.
This loose-fitting dress is very comfortable to wear. It is also fast and easy to make : no zip, no buttons.
