Pattern Description: Dress: close-fitting bodice and slightly flared skirt has bodice variations, back zipper and is below mid-knee length
Pattern Sizing: I made the sz 20 with adjustments
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't follow the instructions because I changed the construction order so I could shirr the back.
Fabric Used: Cotton Voile from spotlight
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did a 1" FBA and added about 4-5" to the back width and shirred it. I also added pockets from S2588
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, this is the second time I've sewn it. First time here
Conclusion: I made this for an easy to wear hot weather dress and swimsuit coverup. I like this dress a lot more than a basic shirred dress that has shirring around the entire bodice, this sits a lot smoother at the front.
It was a quick sew, I lined the bodice with a cotton poplin but left the skirt unlined to keep it cooler.

I really like the shirred back and smooth front. Much more flattering and finished looking than the normal tube dresses

That's really cute on you Suzy. Also, thanks for reminding me what " warm " feels like.
