I took my usual 2cm out of the front neckline, and increased the back width by an inch.
The sleeves were super long: I had to take 4cm off the length, and an inch out of the upper arm width.
The pocket construction was a mess: I had to unpick and handstitch them so the lining didn't show.
The pockets aren't very big either: I can't get my hands fully into them, but they can't be longer or they'll show beneath the hem (of this short version).
Next time I will raise the pocket placement by an inch, and increase the depth of them by an inch.
I added an inside patch pocket for my mobile phone & keys (why don't womens' clothes have inside pockets as standard? because we are expected to carry handbags, perhaps).
I was a bit concerned that the collar didn't seem to be lying properly (during construction) but it turned out just fine.
I made an extra belt loop at the middle back waist so it sits nice
I only used a shoulder pad in my left shoulder, because it hangs an inch lower than my right (due to paralysis of my thoracic nerve during cancer surgery), but I think I'll put both in for my next version: they do make a jacket sit properly.
