Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: "Close fitting pullover dresses A, B, C, D have neckline and sleeve variations, narrow hem. A: Elasticized side seams. D: Double layered collar.
Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized pattern B5(8-10-12-14-16) RR (18W-20W-22W-24W)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes and no. The upper portion yes, the lower portion no, only because I added some width to the hemline.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, the instructions were great.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like how easy it was to put together. I wasn't sure about the fit since I do not normally sew McCall's patterns for myself, but I think it would have been a good fit without tweaking the pattern like I did.
Fabric Used:
I used a cotton/acrylic knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
As mentioned I added width to the hemline which gave the dress more fullness than the actual pattern. Next one, I won't do that.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, and yes.
Conclusion:
I used my walking foot and the knit stitch on my sewing machine, it worked like a charm. I did blog about it Click Here

Great outfit.

Thanks, it is comfy. Sometimes, I think about cutting in and refashioning it into a sweater because I think I might get more wear out of it. Maybe.
